Nordica Dobermann Pro EDT 130 (95 mm. 130 flex)
Don't fix what ain't broke. That's the Dobermann's long-standing M.O. And even though they went and tweaked the program last year with the new E.D.T. integrated boot-rail/boot-board design, the motto still rings true.
UNDERSTANDING "LAST WIDTH" CATEGORIES AND FIT TENSION MEASUREMENTS
Narrow, Medium, Wide. Pretty simple huh? This year we again tested boots the way a bootfitter thinks. For example, in the shop we look at a skier’s foot shape and volume, discuss performance related issues with him or her, and we come up with some ideas for what boots to try. Why not test boots the same way, and provide that sort of information to skiers? Yeah, we thought it was a good idea too.
Turns out manufacturers are on the same page — identifying their boot models by width. Gone are the days when a certain brand ran wide and another ran narrow. Sure there are fit and performance characteristics that run true to a brand’s heritage, but now virtually every manufacturer makes narrow, medium, and wide performance-oriented boots.
Rossignol B-Squad Carbon 130 (98 mm. 130 flex)
The boot testers who've been at it for a while can tell you: by the time a manufacturer works out the bugs and gets a boot really dialed, they usually decide it's time to go freshen it up--go improve it right out of existence.

Having trouble figuring out what board to buy, what size to get, wide or normal, men or womens? Maybe we can help. You are also welcome to call us at (209)258-7508 or email at retail@kirkwood.com with any questions.
The Kfaktor review – Burton Custom V vs. K2 Slayblade.
The Kfaktor review – Burton Custom V vs. K2 Slayblade. This just could be the 2010 Thrilla in Manila, another Ali vs. Frazier of 2010? Both of these boards bring it, I cannot pick the winner here but I will say they both bring “legit” back to the all mountain, freestyle, go anywhere & jib anything board.
So in my research from the “buyers” guides I was shocked not to see either of these boards in the top of category. Not to say they should be #1 or 2# or hell 5, 6,0r 7, they are not mentioned. To this note I add the more you advertise the higher your ranking? But do not let me digress here.
